I suppose I should keep posting, since I did pay for it for another year.

Yesterday I went to Polar Caves.  I discovered two things.  #1, caves and caverns are very different.  I like caverns better.  #2, I apparently have a slight tendency towards claustrophobia.  I thought I only got that way in large groups of people - never felt that way around inanimate objects.  Maybe it was because there were people in the caves ahead of me - the two caves I did finally go into were empty.  Hmmmm...

I did take the "Difficult Way" - the 87 step stairway to the very top, which had a gorgeous view.  I need a tripod.  I was able to set my camera on the railing (had my wrist in the strap, of course!) while I took pictures - I should have some good panoramics, but I was experimenting with some "ultra color" film and low light settings on my camera, so we'll see... it will either be very good or very bad!

Well, apparently moblogging does not work with xanga.  It works fine with yahoo 360, but so far nothing that I have sent to xanga has shown up on here.  That's irritating.

I also do not like the new "dash" on xanga.

The footprints, however, are kind of cool.

So.  If anyone wants to see the pictures I took at the yankee candle company in Deerfield today, they are on my yahoo 360 page - llala412.  Sigh.

I'm getting moblogging set up on Steel Wool Press, too.  I think once I have that going, that will be the only blog I use - xanga autorenewed on the 19th (I forgot it was going to do that and didn't cancel it beforehand), but if I can't post from my cell phone to it while I can to 360 and Steel Wool... well, there's not much point in having Xanga anymore.  I guess I will have it for another year, but that's it.

Well THAT was frustrating.  The footprint deal on xanga (a tracker that tells you who has looked at your journal - it just tells you the state in most cases, but if it is a xanga user it now tells the user name) just had the user name feature go live.  So, I checked it out and saw that a user in TX had actually looked at my journal tonight.  So I looked at his.  I tried to leave a comment about something he wrote about using a different journal service instead of xanga (one which, in my opinion, is MUCH more user friendly!), but although I could WRITE the comment, I could not POST the comment.  That was frustrating.

So I am now going to Wal-Mart, which I now know is a 24 hr Wal-Mart, and I am buying chocolate!!!!

Well.

I accomplished nothing today.  Well, unless you count minimal updates to my website and three blogs.  I had to fight with them a bit.  I got a little frustrated for a while - they were not doing what I wanted.  I should have just watched TV and painted!!  But I added some stuff to my website - http://lala412-ivil.tripod.com/ - and am considering just scrapping most of it and starting over - or at least transferring most of it to another site (also on tripod - I have it started, just Lala Land, not Scrapbooking in Lala Land) and just leaving the actual scrapbook content on the original site.  I may do that.  Not tonight, though.  I put up a poll, so people can vote for it.

Now, I am finally going to brave Wal-Mart and hope that this one is at least open late!  I hadn't thought about the possibility that it might not be a 24 hr Wal-Mart... hmmm.  Good luck to me!

Whew.  I just updated my profile.  That took forever.  I haven't accomplished anything else today, even going to the store, which I had started to do... uh, 4 hours ago!!  Goodness.

Well, I suppose that will teach me not to type so much!
